Data Retention and Versioning
Clinical data within Chorus is stored and managed using structured FHIR resources that support version control and historical record preservation.
Each resource update maintains a versioned history, allowing organizations to review previous states of clinical records when necessary.
Versioning helps ensure that:
- Changes to patient records remain traceable
- Historical clinical observations are preserved
- Monitoring data maintains integrity over time
Data retention policies may be configured in accordance with healthcare organization policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Maintaining historical data integrity supports both clinical review and regulatory documentation.
